LHH is seeking an HR GENERALIST for a direct hire position in Houston, TX.

Position: HR GENERALIST

Type: Direct Hire

Location: 100% ONSITE (77024 zip code)

Pay Range: $75,000-85,000 annually DOE

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8 AM-5 PM

SUMMARY

We are seeking a well-rounded HR Generalist to support the full spectrum of human resources functions. This role will be instrumental in driving employee engagement, managing performance processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working across departments to support a growing team.

DUTIES

Lead employee relations initiatives and conduct investigations

Manage performance management cycles and support talent development

Facilitate onboarding, training, and exit interviews

Administer benefits and serve as backup for payroll

Maintain HRIS records and ensure data accuracy

Develop and update HR policies and procedures

Support recruitment efforts and collaborate with hiring managers

Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal controls

Provide guidance to managers on disciplinary actions and coaching

Prepare reports on HR metrics and trends

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree preferred (HR or related field)

HR certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP) are a plus

5-7 years of HR Generalist experience required

Experience with employee relations, performance management, and training

Familiarity with HRIS systems (UKG Ready, ADP, SAP, etc.)

SKILLS

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Analytical mindset with attention to detail

Collaborative and solution-oriented approach



Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
