This Project Manager role in Jakarta will lead the execution of medium-size projects within the Electrification Distribution Solutions Business. Responsibilities include managing project teams, overseeing planning and control, monitoring progress and financials, and managing risks. The position requires 8-15 years of project management experience in electrical distribution or related fields, with strong knowledge of MV/LV switchgear and project management tools.
Your role and responsibilities
- Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
- Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
- Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
- Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 8-15 years of project management experience in electrical distribution, electrification, power systems, or EPC projects.
- Strong knowledge of MV/LV switchgear, protection systems, substations, and electrical distribution solutions.
- Proven experience managing project execution, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
- Familiarity with ABB ELDS portfolio, relevant IEC standards, and Indonesian industrial/infrastructure project environments.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams, customers, contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, SAP, or equivalent.
