Job DescriptionAre you a skilled Senior Farm Hand seeking a long-term role in a supportive and welcoming environment? This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a family-owned and operated property located near Finley, NSW. The mixed farming operation spans over 6,000 acres, this is a hands-on role suited to someone with broadacre cropping experience and strong mechanical knowledge.
Responsibilities- Planting, harvesting, and ground preparation for cereal crops
- Operation of all broadacre farming machinery, including spray rigs
- Work independently and as part of a team, collaborating directly with the property owner
- Confident with GPS technology
- Contribute to daily farm operations and tasks
- Demonstrate strong mechanical skills and ensure proper machinery upkeep
- Maintain cleanliness and attention to detail in all aspects of work
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with machinery maintenance
- Familiarity with agriculture machinery, including self-propelled spray rigs
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- A clean and organised approach to work
- MC or HC Licence
