Job Description: Join a forward-thinking regenerative farm dedicated to ecological restoration, nutrient-rich food, and innovative land stewardship. Our client is seeking a skilled Lead Farm Hand to play a hands-on role managing livestock, cropping, and overall farm operations.
This is your chance to contribute to a groundbreaking farm that blends diverse enterprises like livestock and market gardens, working closely with a passionate management team to drive lasting environmental impact.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee livestock care (cattle, pigs, poultry, sheep, goats, ducks) and pasture management
- Support cropping, irrigation, and soil health strategies
- Maintain farm infrastructure, machinery, and grounds
- Supervise casual staff, trainees, and volunteers
- Uphold WHS standards and contribute to educational programs
- Experience in regenerative or mixed farming systems
- Skilled in holistic grazing, low-stress stock handling, and machinery operation
- Strong leadership, communication, and record-keeping abilities
- Reliable, adaptable, and aligned with ecological values
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including bi-weekly weekend duties
Newly built, furnished shared accommodation is available for the right individual for a small upkeep fee. Access to company vehicles for work is provided. This is a one-year contract with strong potential for ongoing opportunities.
