Are you a passionate HR professional looking to make a meaningful impact in an organisation that values collaboration, curiosity, and courage? Funds SA is looking for a People and Culture Business Partner to join the team and contribute to the development of a high performing, values led culture.
About the clientFunds SA is a statutory corporation set up by the South Australian (SA) Parliament to invest and manage SA Public Sector superannuation funds and the nominated funds of approved authorities.
About the roleAs the People and Culture Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert HR advice and support to executives, leaders, and employees across the organisation. Reporting to the Manager, People and Culture, you will be responsible for delivering proactive HR services, driving People and Culture initiatives, supporting workforce planning, and contributing to employee engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Provide sound HR advice on recruitment, performance management, learning and development, health and wellbeing, employee relations matters, and workforce planning.
- Coordinate recruitment processes, onboarding activities, and develop high quality documentation such as memos, presentations, and reports.
- Support organisational change initiatives including job design, capability development strategies, and performance management programmes.
- Deliver organisational development initiatives aligned with Funds SA's People and Culture strategy to promote employee engagement and build capability.
- Provide guidance on industrial relations matters including interpretation of policies and procedures, case management of sensitive staffing issues, and enterprise bargaining processes.
- Contribute to workplace health, safety and wellbeing programmes that optimise employee productivity and resilience.
- Build strong relationships across the organisation to foster collaboration and alignment with corporate objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Tertiary or postgraduate qualifications in human resource management or a related discipline
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build collaborative relationships.
- High level written and verbal communication skills tailored to engaging various audiences.
- Proven ability to provide operational HR advice aligned with legislation, policies and business outcomes.
- Analytical problem solving skills with expertise in interpreting industrial instruments.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to a diverse stakeholder group while managing competing priorities.
