Join Our OB/GYN Team in Bad Axe, Michigan!

We are excited to announce an immediate opening for an OB/GYN in Bad Axe, Michigan!

Step into an established practice with a full patient panel under an employed practice model at McLaren Thumb Region, the region's only birthing center, delivering approximately 370 babies a year.

Enjoy a network that includes a supportive team of another OB/GYN, a Nurse Practitioner, and dedicated medical assistants.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical care in a collaborative environment with 1 MD, 1 NP (3 days/week), and a dedicated team of medical assistants.
• Perform approximately 460 gynecological procedures annually.
• Manage a patient caseload of 30-40 individuals per day, encompassing both inpatient and outpatient care.
• Maintain a work-life balance with a set surgery day.
• Utilize onsite facilities including ultrasound, NST, IUI, and phlebotomy.
• Engage with an established patient panel, supporting continuity of care for current patients.
• Participate in hospital call duties, with a commitment primarily on weekends (7 days/month).

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
• MI License (or in process) - REQUIRED
• BLS Certification (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
• DEA Certification (to be obtained prior to start) - REQUIRED
• CSR/CDS Certification (to be obtained prior to start) - REQUIRED

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Michigan Medical License
• BLS Certification
• DEA Registration
• CSR/CDS Certification
