Join Our Team as an OB/GYN in Bad Axe, Michigan!

McLaren Thumb Region is seeking a dedicated OB/GYN to join our established practice in Bad Axe, Michigan. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a well-established patient base vacated by a retiring provider. As an integral part of our team, you will provide vital care within a supportive environment, boasting a strong focus on work-life balance.

Facility Highlights:

• Home to the only birthing center in the region, delivering approximately 370 babies annually.
• Capable of performing 460 gynecological procedures each year.
• Conveniently located near the hospital with no EMR in the clinic.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage a full patient panel, attending to 30-40 patients (inpatient and outpatient) daily.
• Collaborate with a team consisting of 1 MD, 1 Nurse Practitioner, and a dedicated support staff.
• Perform surgeries on designated days while ensuring excellent patient care.
• Utilize on-site ultrasound, NST, IUI, and phlebotomy services.
• Provide hospital call coverage on weekends, ensuring responsive patient care.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
• Michigan State Medical License (or in process) - REQUIRED
• DEA certification (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
• BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Eligible or Certified in OB/GYN.
• Active Michigan medical license.
• Current DEA registration or willingness to obtain.
• BLS certification or willingness to acquire.
