Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw, MI, is seeking two dynamic and dedicated Hematology Oncologists to join our outstanding Oncology and Hematology department. With a commitment to excellence, our facility offers a comprehensive approach to cancer care and is recognized for its high standards in patient experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide full-scope Medical Oncology and Hematology care, primarily in an outpatient setting.
• Manage a patient census of approximately 25 outpatient visits per clinic and an inpatient population averaging 5-10 patients.
• Engage in a cohesive team environment with 3 full-time Medical Oncologists and 1 full-time Hematologist.
• Participate in peer-to-peer relationships with MD Andersen for consults.
• Utilize dedicated medical assistants and NPs for optimal patient care delivery.
• Support the regional referral center in advancing cancer care programs and participate in academic affiliations with local medical programs.
• Conduct outpatient treatments at our Infusion Therapy Center and provide specialized care at the Breast Health Center.
• Promote clinical excellence and maintain a quality-driven, caring atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
• Recent graduates and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate care with a patient-centered focus.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Michigan State Medical License (or willingness to obtain).
• DEA certification must be obtained prior to employment.
• CSR/CDS certification must be obtained prior to employment.
