Job Opportunity: Full-Time Physician - Cardiology

The practice is expanding and is looking for a full-time, fellowship-trained cardiologist, either non-invasive or invasive, who is board certified in internal medicine and board eligible/certified in cardiovascular disease. Responsibilities:

• Work alongside two primary cardiologists with robust support for call and complex cardiac procedures.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including six cardiothoracic surgeons, seven electrophysiologists, and nearly 20 cardiologists.
• Provide patients with a wide range of cardiac care options thanks to the unique partnership between the Heart Center and Regional West Medical Center.
• Engage in innovative and evidence-based technologies and procedures in patient care.
• Participate in clinical trials, providing patients access to cutting-edge care.
• Ensure high-quality care through a multi-disciplinary approach.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine - REQUIRED
• Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease - REQUIRED
• Active Nebraska license (or in process of obtaining) - REQUIRED
• Completed Fellowship prior to start - REQUIRED
• Clean malpractice history - PREFERRED
• Visa support requirements (J1 or H1B) noted as required if applicable - REQUIRED

License and Certification Requirements:

• Fellowship-trained specialist in Cardiology.
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
• Board Eligibility or Certification in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Active medical license in Nebraska.
