Join Our Well-Established Cardiology Program in Scottsbluff, NE
We are seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained cardiologist to join our thriving cardiology practice in Western Nebraska. This position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative environment, where excellence and integrity are paramount. Our facility is dedicated to providing top-tier cardiac care, supported by a robust team that includes cardiothoracic surgeons, electrophysiologists, interventional cardiologists, and a comprehensive support staff.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with two primary cardiologists and a large support team for call and complex cardiac procedures.
- Engage with the highly skilled UCHealth Heart and Vascular team comprising various specialties.
- Utilize innovative, evidence-based technologies and procedures for patient care.
- Participate in the latest clinical trials to offer patients access to cutting-edge treatments.
- Contribute to a multi-disciplinary approach to ensure high-quality care for every patient.
- Share on-call duties with colleagues, providing coverage for 1:3 nights and weekends.
Qualifications:
- Fellowship-trained in Cardiology
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine (required)
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease (required)
- NE medical license (or in the process of obtaining) (required)
- Completion of Fellowship prior to start (required)
- Clean malpractice history preferred
- DEA license (must be obtained prior to start, no exemptions)
Licensure and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine - Required
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease - Required
- NE medical license (or in process of obtaining) - Required
- Completed Fellowship prior to start - Required
