Family Nurse Practitioner Opportunity - Putnam, CTAbout the Organization: A regional community health center serving a 37-town rural region in eastern Connecticut, with sites in Willimantic, Danielson, Norwich, and Putnam. The dedicated staff provides a full range of primary care services to all ages including medical, dental, and behavioral health care, as well as care coordination and community outreach. In addition to main facilities, services include mobile programs and School-Based Health Centers.Compensation:
- Base salary: - Starting at $113,263+ (Master s level) - Starting at $118,263+ (Doctorate level) - Salary commensurate with experiencePosition Summary: Seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to deliver a broad range of clinical primary care services for patients across the lifespan. This role includes ambulatory care for adults, pediatrics, and gynecology.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care appropriate to the age and needs of patients
- Perform office diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Conduct therapeutic procedures (e.g., injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, infection management)
- Counsel patients on treatment compliance, preventive health, family planning, and emotional well-being
- Develop and implement patient management plans
- Document patient progress and ensure continuity of care
- Conduct comprehensive physical exams and compile medical data Qualifications:
- M.S. or D.N.P. degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Current or eligible licensure in the State of Connecticut
- Valid Federal and State Controlled Substance Licenses Exceptional Benefits Include:
