Neonatology Physician

Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (In-house call)
Coverage Need: 4 6 shifts per month

Details:

• Practice Setting: Level III NICU
• NICU Size: 15-bed NICU
• Average Census: 12 patients/day
• Average Admissions Per Day: 0 4
• Number of Neonatologists in Group: 3 full-time, 2 part-time, 4 contingent
• Documentation System/EMR: Cerner / eCare / PowerChart
• Trauma Level/Designation: Level III

Clinical Responsibilities:

• In-house NICU night coverage
• Attendance at C-sections REQUIRED
• Neonatal transfers REQUIRED
• No Level I (Well-Baby) Nursery coverage

Requirements:

• Fellowship-trained in Neonatology
• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible
• Active Michigan medical license (in hand)
• Clean background
• BLS & NRP certifications
• Local provider (mileage reimbursed if applicable)
• Self-Query NPDB (pulled within the last month) at submission
