Overview: The facility is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) Neurosurgery to join a well-established neurosurgery practice in Clearwater, FL. The practice consists of 4 neurosurgeons and 3 advanced practice providers, providing care to adult patients only. This role includes a balanced mix of inpatient rounding, operating room support, and outpatient clinic responsibilities. Practice Setting: 50% Inpatient: Rounding and operating room support 50% Outpatient: Neurosurgery clinic Comprehensive Certified Stroke Center Not a trauma center Schedule: Monday Friday 7:30 AM 5:00 PM Call: Approximately 5 7 days per month Weekday call shared among PAs (1 2 PAs covering with physician support) Weekend call rotation 1:4 Less than 25% in-person call Patient Volume : patients per shift Required Skills: Minimum 1 year of experience as an APP in Neurosurgery Brain and spine surgery experience First assist in neurosurgical procedures Ability to interpret basic imaging Requirements: Updated CV Active Florida Physician Assistant License Board Certification ACLS, BLS DEA NPDB report

Surgery - Cardiovascular Physician Assistant

Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (Can present you according to the provider's availability) On-Call: No required call (Optional paid call available) Position Overview: The facility is seeking a dedicated Neurosurgery PA to join a full-time neurosurgery team. The role focuses primarily on spine surgery (approximately 80%) with cranial cases comprising about 20% of the practice. This position offers a balanced surgical and inpatient consult experience in a collaborative hospital-based environment. Key Responsibilities: First assist in neurosurgical procedures, primarily spine and cranial cases Perform minor procedures including wound suturing and wound aspirations Provide perioperative patient management Conduct inpatient consults, including ICU consults as needed Participate in preoperative and postoperative patient care Collaborate closely with the neurosurgery attending physician (full-time onsite coverage) Clinical Volume: 5 7 surgeries per week on average Patient census varies based on elective surgery schedule Evening and weekend coverage managed by on-call APP with formal sign-out process Requirements: Active New York license Experience as a surgical first assist required.
