Become a Part of the NIKE, Inc. Team

NIKE, Inc. does more than outfit the world’s best athletes. It is a place to explore potential, obliterate boundaries and push out the edges of what can be. The company looks for people who can grow, think, dream and create. Its culture thrives by embracing diversity and rewarding imagination. The brand seeks achievers, leaders and visionaries. At NIKE, Inc. it’s about each person bringing skills and passion to a challenging and constantly evolving game.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will be an integral part of the Apparel Product Testing Team, leading strong cross-functional communication, testing plans and execution, athlete-led insights, and data-informed decisions. You will partner across NikeSKIMS and Apparel with Product Management, Technical Development, Design, Product Merchandising, Materials, Risk Engineering, and Apparel Labs. Most importantly, you will build trusted relationships with female athletes* and amplify their voices to ensure NikeSKIMS apparel and accessories fit and perform to the highest standards.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will lead end-to-end, multi-season product testing programs for NikeSKIMS, including test design, athlete recruitment, execution, qualitative and quantitative analysis, insight generation, reporting, and recommendations. You will translate product and business objectives into effective test strategies, anticipate future testing needs, and identify gaps and opportunities across the program. You will synthesize athlete* and product feedback into clear, actionable recommendations that influence product decisions and testing direction. You will also evolve testing practices, facilitate body-conscious product evaluations with discretion, respect, and inclusivity, and help ensure consistent, high-quality execution across programs.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented product testing leader to own and drive testing programs for NikeSKIMS product offerings, inclusive of intimate and body-conscious apparel, in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. Given the close-to-body nature of NikeSKIMS apparel, loungewear, and technical shapewear and the direct engagement with female athletes*, the ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in consumer research, product performance testing, have experience facilitating body-conscious discussions, proven influence and communication skills, and the ability to identify opportunities and implement solutions with cross-functional partners and leadership.

You will provide testing leadership across NikeSKIMS product creation programs and help advance athlete relationships, testing methodologies, and program scope. You will lead cross-functional alignment, mentor other analysts in test design and execution, and strengthen testing practices that enable the business to make confident, athlete-informed product decisions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Apparel, Product Design, Kinesiology, Biomechanics, Consumer Research, or a related field is preferred. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
  • 6 years' experience in apparel creation, product testing, consumer research, or apparel performance (preferably in intimate apparel or activewear, can also include consumer products, food, automotive, textiles).
  • Advanced understanding of fit, fabric performance, apparel construction, and wear-testing methodologies.
  • Strong communication and insight-storytelling skills, including the ability to elicit information, actively listen, navigate sensitive discussions, and translate findings into clear recommendations.
  • Ability to facilitate inclusive conversations about body perception, comfort, fit, and the wear experience of female athletes*.
  • Proven experience creating and maintaining ethical and professional standards in handling partially clothed testing environments, ensuring all participants feel safe and respected.
  • Advanced capability in qualitative and quantitative test design, data collection, analysis, and recommendation development.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional workstreams, align stakeholders, and drive complex programs with minimal guidance.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide others in test design, execution, athlete engagement, analysis, and insight storytelling.
  • Knowledge of psychometrics, sensory-perception, behavioral sciences or motor learning and control is a plus.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office (or equivalent) programs.
  • Experience with one or more testing and research tools such as MESH01, Qualtrics, SPSS, SigmaPlot, Airtable, Smartsheet, dscout, or EyeQuestion.
  • Passion for sport is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 20–30% per year.
  • Ability to work directly with athletes* in testing environments and in the environments where they train, move, and live.

We offer a number of accommodations to complete our interview process including screen readers, sign language interpreters, accessible and single location for in-person interviews, closed captioning, and other reasonable modifications as needed.
