Accenture Construct – Senior Construction Project Manager, ANS

You've Never Been Satisfied with "Good Enough." You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built. At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving — smarter, safer and more sustainably. You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land. Because “good enough” builds the past. You're here to build what's next. Visit us here to learn more about Accenture Construct As Accenture continues to grow, you may see a variety of new career opportunities, and depending on the role and location you may be directed to apply through Accenture LLP or one of our other legal entities - Accenture Construct LLC or Accenture Construct Inc., with benefits varying by country and role, so please check with your recruiter for details. THE WORK: You'll serve as primary point of contact with unit representatives throughout the duration of the project. You'll manage the work efforts of external organizations such as A/E firms, general contractors and construction managers. You'll coordinate the work efforts of institutional organizations such as interior design, environmental graphic design, information technology, access control and environmental health safety and risk management to ensure that program objectives, institutional design and construction standards, regulatory requirements, the project schedule requirements, and the project budget are achieved. You'll coordinate with and manage submissions to Mason’s Office of University Building Official and the State Fire Marshall’s Office to ensure regulatory compliance is achieved. You'll direct activities of other facilities members of the project team (project engineer, project inspector/ construction field representative, etc.) and contracted consultants. HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED: 12+ years’ experience in progressively complex engineering or architectural positions Demonstrated experience with projects that include complex program criteria such as academic research facilities, BSL Labs, emerging science and engineering buildings, medical facilities or projects of a similar nature Hold a valid state driver’s license Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE: Registered Architect or Licensed Professional Engineer (in any state) required; have the ability to transfer an out of state registration as an Architect or Professional Engineer to the Commonwealth of Virginia within one year Significant experience in lieu of the required licensure WORK LOCATION: Site Specific: Fairfax, VA Every role here has some in-person time — for collaboration, for learning, and because capital projects happen in physical places. We'll be as flexible as we can around how you make that work. WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU The biggest builds going. Hyperscale data centers, grid and generation, transit and rail, chip fabs, mines, water. If it's complex and it matters, it's on our list. You own the outcome. Not a workstream. Not a deliverable. Whether the program lands. AI that shows up on site. Program control that predicts instead of records. You'll use it, and you'll help shape it. Scale without the distance. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, on a team small enough that people know your name. Serious investment in you. Leadership development, technical upskilling and certification support. Work that outlasts you. People will use what you build for forty years without knowing your name. That's the point. Recognition that means something in this industry. Accenture Construct is ranked #6 globally in ENR's 2026 Top 50 Program Management Firms and #4 in Building Design + Construction's Top 80 Construction Management Firms for 2026. ABOUT ACCENTURE CONSTRUCT Accenture Construct is Accenture's global capital projects business. The data centers behind AI. The grid behind the energy transition. The rail, water and airports everything else runs on. We plan them, engineer them, deliver them and hand them over — and unlike most of this market, we're on the hook for whether they land on time. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. One team that owns the whole thing. We believe that no one should be discriminated against because of their differences. All employment decisions shall be made without regard to age, race, creed, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, disability status, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetic information, marital status, citizenship status or any other basis as protected by federal, state, or local law.
