Council is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Trainee Early Childhood Educator to join our dynamic team!
As a Trainee Early Childhood Educator, you will gain valuable hands on experience while working alongside experienced educators in a supportive, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
You will actively contribute to the development and implementation of engaging, fun, and educational activities for children aged 0-5 years, helping them build essential skills for their future.
You will also undertake a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, where you'll learn the key skills needed to become a qualified educator.
The position offers on the job training, professional development, and the opportunity to work in a well established and respected team.
Reporting to the Centre Director, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the planning and delivery of educational programs for young children
- Support the emotional, social, and physical development of children
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment
- Work collaboratively with other educators and staff members
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for children
- Contribute to building strong relationships with families
- Completion of Higher School Certificate
- Commitment to complete the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification
- Working with Children clearance number
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work in a diverse team environment
Salary for this position is as per the Award
