Salary Range:$92604.95 to $107622.32 (on a pro-rata basis) per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

Property Commercial and Tourist Assets
The Property Buildings & Beach Services Business Unit sits within the Transport and Assets Division, and is responsible for the overall management of all Council's commercial operations as well as buildings such as community centres, administration buildings, childcare centres and public toilets.
The Property, Commercial and Tourist Asset team manage a range of properties including; large tourist destinations, commercial, residential and community properties, cemeteries, outdoor dining permits and footpath trading. The team are also responsible for land acquisition and disposal / sale of land and administration of Council's statutory property responsibilities including road reserve closures / consents / leases, easements, positive covenants etc.

The key focus areas of this role include:
- Support the delivery of property portfolio management services, ensuring compliance with statutory and legal requirements, while displaying excellent customer service in an emotionally charged environment.
- Assist in the delivery of cemetery services, including sales, administration, memorialisation and handling of customer enquiries with empathy and professionalism, to meet the needs of bereaved individuals.
- Manage Council's utilities services, including on-charging of utilities to tenants, to ensure utility spend is optimised and accurate.
- Provide effective and timely responses to requests for service in relation to Council's property portfolio, in addition to other administrative and special project functions as required ensuring a high level of customer service.
