Surgery - General Physician Assistant

Shift: 12-Hour Shifts

Description:

• Job Title: General Surgery- Physician Assistant
• Job Duration: 13 weeks
• Experience: Inpatient surgery, OR, and/or trauma experience required
• License: CT license preferred
• Must-Have: Epic EMR experience
• Hourly Rate: $120 per hour
• Additional Benefits: Malpractice insurance, travel, and lodging covered
• Scope of Work: Average of 25-40 patients per shift split between two teams, including vascular surgery during the day; night shifts involve shared patient coverage between two providers
• Services provided: Inpatient general surgery, trauma, vascular, plastics, colorectal, surgical oncology, and thoracic services; Rounding; Consults; Respond to trauma; OR coverage
• Comfortable working independently
• Procedures required: I&D, debridement, chest tube, NGT
• Requisition Comments and Notes: Float Required: No
