Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Special Education Teacher for an elementary resource specialist role serving K-8 students across multiple grades.

Responsibilities

• Work setting is an elementary school environment
• Resource Specialist Program (RSP) role with K-8 student caseload
• Typical hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Assignment spans the full academic year
• Provide special education support and instruction in a split K-8 environment
• Serve a diverse student population with a range of learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff

Requirements

• Relevant teaching certification or credentials required for Special Education
• License required if applicable
• Experience working with elementary and K-8 students in a special education setting preferred
