This is a newly created role, reflecting a company that is growing and innovating. Reporting to the General Counsel, and engaging regularly with the Executive and Board, you will join a close knit, stable in-house legal team. This position offers a unique chance to combine high-level corporate governance with the growing demands of environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy. In this position, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality secretariat support across jurisdictions to the General Counsel, Board and Board Committees
• Working with the corporate team and businesses to implement, and monitor ESG-related frameworks and sustainability initiatives
• Assisting with the preparation of climate-related reporting in Australia and New Zealand
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with ASX and NZX Listing Rules
• Preparing required ASX/NZX announcements and supporting the Group's continuous disclosure obligations
• Working with the General Counsel on the Annual Meeting process

EBOS Group seeks an experienced commercial lawyer, ideally with proven experience in the governance and ESG space. Candidates from the Corporate/M&A team of a leading law firm with experience acting for ASX listed clients and advising on governance/secretariat issues are also encouraged to apply. Experience in sustainability reporting standards or climate-related disclosure frameworks will be highly regarded. Exceptional drafting and communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to engage effectively with senior leaders are essential. You will be proactive, organised and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, with high integrity and a collaborative mindset.
