Secondary Maths/Science Teacher

An exciting opportunity awaits a dedicated Secondary Science/Maths teacher to join a small and welcoming Catholic school community in Melbourne's West. Beginning in Term 1, 2026, this full time role involves teaching Science to students in Years 7-10 and Junior Maths.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive Maths and Science curriculum aligned with the Victorian Curriculum, covering various topics such as algebra, geometry, calculus, biology, chemistry, physics, and environmental science.
• Create engaging and differentiated lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, incorporating hands on experiments, problem solving activities, and inquiry based investigations to enhance students' understanding and mastery of mathematical and scientific concepts.
• Design and administer assessments, tests, and experiments to evaluate students' understanding and provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their academic performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Maths and Science departments and across other subject areas to create interdisciplinary projects, thematic units, and cross curricular connections.
• Engage in continuous professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in Maths and Science education.

• Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
• Current VIT registration
• Demonstrate previous experience in teaching Secondary Science/Maths advantageous
