Your opportunity

As a Regional Director, you will contribute to the State Development team by exploring and facilitating economic growth opportunities for new industries and building liveable communities.

For This Role We Are Looking For Strengths In

Sound judgement and negotiation, Leading strategically, Influence and collaborative partnerships, Project management, Demonstrating sound governance, Driving accountability and outcomes.

Your Responsibilities

Provide strategic advice to the group and senior executives. Represent and advocate for the Department at a high level including with key regional stakeholders to ensure the government's economic development objectives are understood.

Lead and manage investment attraction, supply chain development, regional intelligence and stakeholder engagement and project facilitation.

Support regional leadership and capacity building to deliver on economic priorities of regional communities.

Promote and deliver departmental programs including targeted industry programs.

Ensure compliance with the Department's management systems and that the practices are consistent with best practice, Government policies and legislative requirements.
