About the Role (Hourly Rate Contract Until June 30th 2026)

We are currently working with our government client to recruit for a Performance Analyst to provide financial planning, reporting, and support across both BAU and strategic technology initiatives. This role will play a key part in annual and four-year financial planning cycles, ensuring robust financial oversight and insight into ICT programmes and projects.

The position requires someone who is confident operating across a range of financial information and data to consolidate it to support sound investment decisions and long-term planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support annual and four-year financial planning processes for projects and programmes.
  • Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports, accruals, and forecasts to support effective decision making.
  • Engage with senior leaders to coordinate financial inputs, updates, and approvals.
  • Contribute to the preparation of presentations and reports for the Investment Group, providing clear and accurate financial narratives.
  • Support strategic and BAU planning activities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement of planning and reporting processes.
About You

You'll bring a strong background in financial planning and reconciliation, ideally within an ICT or project delivery context.

Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
  • Experience in ICT or project based financial management.
  • Skilled in month end processes, accruals, and reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate financial information clearly.
  • Strong background in ICT project/programme coordination or portfolio analysis (advantageous).
  • Current security clearance (advantageous).
