Join a leading name in Australia's technology space, as a Payroll Consultant supporting end-to-end payroll operations across Australia and New Zealand. About the RoleReporting to the Manager of HRIS & Payroll, you'll play a key role in the accurate and timely delivery of our client's payroll. You'll work collaboratively with the Payroll and HRC teams, ensuring compliance with Australian and New Zealand legislative requirements and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities- Manage BAU payroll processing and reporting activities
- Maintain data integrity across Workday and Preceda systems
- Conduct reconciliations and manual calculations (terminations, leave, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with all statutory obligations, including PAYG, superannuation, and payroll tax
- Support end-of-month and end-of-year payroll activities
- Liaise with HR and Finance to ensure seamless payroll operations
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
You're an experienced payroll professional who enjoys working autonomously in a collaborative team environment. You bring a strong understanding of payroll legislation, a commitment to accuracy, and excellent communication skills.
What You'll Bring- Minimum 5 years' end-to-end payroll experience (AU & NZ)
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience using Preceda (essential) and exposure to Workday highly regarded
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated experience reconciling payroll, superannuation, and tax obligations
