As an Adult Medicine Physician at our expansive Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Houston, TX, you'll provide comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and management for adult patients. Your role will extend beyond addressing acute issues, as you'll proactively screen and manage chronic diseases, making a lasting impact on community health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care by evaluating, treating, and managing adult patients, focusing on both acute and chronic conditions.
• Provide clinical oversight and mentorship to mid-level providers to enhance collaborative care delivery.
• Participate in scheduled clinical hours and remain available for on-call services to address patient needs as required.
• Attend clinical or operations-related meetings, which may occur after standard working hours, to ensure seamless healthcare operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Medical Doctorate (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Current Texas medical license and DEA License.
• Specialty in Primary Care (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine).
• Experience in community healthcare settings, demonstrating a commitment to serving underserved populations.
• Spanish language proficiency is preferred, enhancing communication with diverse patient demographics.
