The Division of Academic and Student Engagement (DASE) partners with students, staff and the broader community to deliver an outstanding student experience. At the heart of the student experience are transformational opportunities in learning and teaching.

Student Administration Operations provides streamlined, integrated and intuitive administration services and systems to enable successful student progression through their university lifecycle. The Student Administration Operations unit includes Coursework Scholarships and Prizes, Enrolments, Examinations and Results, Graduations, Student Data and Reporting, Timetabling and Planning, and Student Systems.

Working under general direction, the Graduations Project Officer will support the delivery of the final University of Adelaide graduation ceremonies. This role is responsible for supporting the graduation-related processes from the University of Adelaide to the new Adelaide University, while also supporting with the finalisation and clean-up activities to ensure the successful completion and conferral of the last graduating cohort from the University of Adelaide.

Additionally, the role provides support for project management activities, including contributing to project planning, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and progress reporting to ensure alignment with key milestones and organisational deadlines.

To be successful you will need:
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Demonstrated organisation skills, including the ability to manage priorities to meet competing deadlines.
  • Experience managing and coordinating logistics for high pressure events.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills, to enable effective communication and negotiation with a diverse range of clients.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining sound relationships with stakeholders both within and outside the University, including negotiating and maintaining contracts with external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality outcomes, including attention to detail, sound judgement, initiative and confidentiality.
  • Advanced computer skills using the Microsoft Office Suite of products, particularly Excel.
