We're seeking an experienced Front Office Manager who embodies our purpose: to be a true expression of the neighbourhood, a place to get lost in, take refuge in, and revel in. You'll be the heartbeat of our guest experience, leading with warmth, curiosity, and a commitment to excellence.

As Front Office Manager, you are the first impression and the lasting memory. You lead with Purpose & Value and growth mindset, inspiring your team to create standout moments with every guest, every time.

You'll:

  • Lead by example with a hands-on approach, whether it's check-ins, heartfelt conversations, or thoughtful recommendations.
  • Champion the five practices of exemplary leadership (Kouzes & Posner), empowering your team to grow and thrive.
  • Be the master of room availability, rate categories, and VIP experiences, ensuring every detail is seamless and memorable.
  • Own service recovery with grace and empathy, turning challenges into opportunities.
  • Monitor and respond to guest feedback with professionalism and personality.
  • Continuously refine front office operations to maximise efficiency and elevate guest satisfaction.

Your Impact

You'll be a key partner to the hotel senior leadership team, driving operational excellence.

You'll:

  • Prepare timely and insightful reports across daily, weekly, and monthly cycles.
  • Set and meet budgets, manage expenses, and identify revenue opportunities.
  • Build rosters and manage payroll aligning to the Hotel and General Award (HIGA).
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management with care and clarity.
  • Foster a culture of communication and collaboration through daily briefings and monthly team meetings.
  • Ensure the reception and lobby are always immaculate - reflecting the pride we take in our space.
