About the Role- Analyse the company's existing operations, workforce, infrastructure and market position within the civil maritime sector.
- Identify pathways for deeper engagement with Defence, including capability alignment, contracting mechanisms and relationship building strategies.
- Develop actionable recommendations to enhance competitiveness and readiness for Defence and ADF opportunities.
- Deliver a professional, evidence based strategy paper supported by Defence market insights and stakeholder mapping.
- Possesses strong Defence industry knowledge, particularly across Navy, maritime sustainment and logistics support.
- Has demonstrated experience preparing Defence engagement or market entry strategies.
- Can apply commercial acumen and a deep understanding of Defence procurement frameworks (CASG, Defence Security and Estate Group (SEG), Defence Industry Policy).
- Holds an NV1 security clearance.
- Communicates effectively with senior Defence and industry stakeholders.
- Works independently with integrity, professionalism and discretion.
