Junior Auditor

Job Description

Our firm is looking to recruit a Junior Auditor to join our team in Limassol on a full-time, on-site basis.

The role involves planning and performing audit engagements for a portfolio of clients in accordance with applicable auditing standards, IFRS and relevant regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and perform audit procedures, prepare working papers, evaluate audit evidence and identify areas of risk.
• Review internal controls and client processes and communicate audit findings.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable financial reporting standards.
• Communicate with clients, obtain supporting documentation and assist with audit files and reports.
• Complete audit work accurately and within agreed deadlines.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant audit experience in an audit firm will be considered an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• ACCA or ACA qualification, or progress towards qualification, will be considered an advantage
• Good understanding of accounting principles and analytical skills
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professionalism, integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

Working hours

• Monday - Thursday 8:00-13:00, 14:00-17:00
• Friday 8:00-14:00
