We are seeking an exceptional academic leader to join the Faculty of Medicine as Director, Medical Education, at a pivotal time of transformation and renewal as we launch Adelaide University in January 2026.
Level E ($215,774) pro rata at 0.7 FTE salary per annum plus an employer contribution 17% superannuation.

The Adelaide Medical School, within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, is going through an exciting transformation with a new strategic vision to further enhance its delivery of South Australia's leading medical program. Key responsibilitiesThis is a rare opportunity to work closely with the current Director ahead of retirement. Over a 16-month handover period, you will gain valuable institutional insight and play a critical role in shaping the future of medical education at Adelaide Medical School.
As the Director, you will lead the final transition from MBBS to the new BMD program and oversee the development, management and delivery of high-quality education across the medical programs. Responsibilities include continuous curriculum review and renewal, course design and integration, curriculum delivery, assessment, quality assurance and curriculum mapping.
Qualifications and experienceTo be successful in this role you will have demonstrated academic excellence, a proven ability to establish outstanding working relationships with colleagues and students, and demonstrated experience in clinical medicine.
This position requires a valid Working with Children Check.
