About the Role

The Government's primary financial management system Masterpiece, used by most SA Government agencies excluding SAHealth, is over 30 years old and nearing the end of its servicelife. The Finance Reform Program is leading a major initiative to replace it with Oracle and implement best practice processes. This transformation will significantly change how finance functions are performed across agencies and affect a wide range of stakeholders, including finance, ICT, and operations teams.

Responsibilities
  • Define and document current financial businessprocesses across Shared Services SA and government agencies.
  • Support development and translation of businessrequirements into feasible, well-scoped technical solutions.
  • Develop future-state processes that leverage modern system functionality and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with technical leads and subject matter experts to align processes with best practices.
  • Contribute to testing, deployment, and changemanagement activities across agencies.

Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in business process mapping and analysis.
  • Proven ability to work on large-scale, complex projects with tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Confidence working autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic team.
  • Solid knowledge of ICT systems environments and business process tools.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP, Masterpiece, or similar finance systems (desirable).
