Security Specialist

As a Security Specialist, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring CCTV systems, identifying potential security risks and responding promptly to incidents. This role requires vigilance, reliability and a high level of discretion.

Working hours: night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with one night on followed by two days off. The rotation includes weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor live CCTV feeds, promptly identifying and reporting suspicious activity, unauthorised access or potential security risks
• Safeguard the premises, property and individuals on site
• Monitor access points and manage entry in line with established security procedures
• Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies, following established procedures
• Maintain accurate security logs, prepare incident reports and provide clear handovers between shifts
• Report faults or technical issues affecting CCTV and other security systems
• Coordinate with designated contacts, local law enforcement or emergency services when required
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding security arrangements and any information observed during duty

Requirements

• Experience in a similar security role will be considered an advantage
• Familiarity with CCTV monitoring and access control systems will be considered an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Ability to remain alert and focused throughout a night shift
• Clear communication skills and the ability to report incidents accurately
• Ability to remain calm and exercise sound judgement under pressure
• A reliable, professional and discreet approach
• Availability to work the night shift pattern outlined above
• Fluency in English and Greek
