Gate Controller

We are looking to recruit a Gate Controller to join the Operations & Planning team, with the main responsibilities as below:

• Inspect all the cargo moving through the terminal gate and take appropriate action while adhering to port policies and procedures;
• Ensuring that no cargo enters or leaves the port without the correct documentation.

The successful candidate will have the following:

• A degree in Shipping or a related field will be considered an advantage;
• Previous experience in the port industry will be considered an advantage but not a requirement, as full training will be provided;
• Excellent computer skills and good knowledge of the English and Greek languages;
• Flexibility with the ability to work shifts and overtime when required;
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain high levels of concentration.
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail;
