Current College Students - After-School Nanny and Family Assistant (Part-Time)

JOB TITLE: After-School Nanny and Family Assistant (Part-Time) LOCATION: Houston, TX (Memorial Drive Area, 77079) HOURS: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM plus occasional hours for morning drop off PAY: $17/hour JOB OVERVIEW: We are seeking an organized, reliable, and active student nanny to care for our son, and assist with household management. This position is ideal for someone who thrives with structured routines, encourages active play over screen time, and can manage light household tasks. CHILDCARE DUTIES: Safely transport son to and from school and extracurricular activities. Maintain a strict afternoon schedule involving snack time, dinner prep, bath routine, and bedtime wind-down. Monitor daily homework on weekdays using a timer and reward system. Consistently encourage active play over screen time. Handle basic hygiene including bathing, hair combing, lotion application, and weekly nail trimming. HOUSEHOLD DUTIES: While son is at school or tutoring, manage household tasks. This includes wiping, sweeping, and vacuuming the kitchen, dining area, half bath, and car seat daily. Handle son's laundry and keep the dishes/dishwasher clear. Run the robot vacuum on set days. Bake weekly cookies, prep yogurt, and wash/slice fresh grocery fruit. Pack and organize structured weekly activity bags (lunch and sports) using provided checklists. Track household inventory to write grocery lists, unpack groceries, and check expiration dates. REQUIREMENTS: Reliable personal vehicle with a clean driving record. Experience or comfort administering an EpiPen and allergy medication. Excellent time management and ability to strictly follow a checklist. Must pass a background check and working interviews.
