Akkodis is seeking a Field Service Engineer / Technician for a full-time role dedicated to servicing the state of Florida stretching from Tampa to Orlando to Jacksonville areas for the next several years while utilizing our company vehicle.

Qualified candidates require prior electrical field operations-related experience (EV Charging or Solar are ideal backgrounds)servicing/troubleshooting infrastructures, preferably medium to high voltage.

The role requires a commitment of 80-90% local travel. We strive to maintain a great work/life balance for our staff, allowing to be home every weekend and most every weeknight. An all-electric utility vehicle (truck/SUV) will be provided for the roles to our full-time employees.

We’re exclusively partnered with the leader for building the largest universal national infrastructure for electric vehicles “Fueling Stations of the Future” by investing in a range of current and future charging technologies that will provide open and ubiquitous access to EV drivers along highways, in metro areas, at multi-unit dwellings, at workplaces, and through new mobility programs.

Our partnership has invested an additional $2.5 billion (and growing) over the next 10+ years in EV infrastructure, education, and access to support the increased adoption of EV technology in the United States, representing the largest commitment of its kind to date.

Salary Range: Up to $85,000/yr plus overtime pay (salary commensurate based on experience, education, geographic locations, and other factors).

High Voltage Field Service Engineer/Technician job responsibilities include:
• Leading the service and maintenance activities of DC Fast Charging station sites for risk mitigation, testing, data collection, corrections, and repair management.
• Plan and coordinate major site repairs and improvements.
• Audit field maintenance methods and feedback to internal and external partners to improve field maintenance practices' quality, impact, and repeatability.
• Develop and support site longitudinal testing activities.
• Conduct electrical forensics within the charging station infrastructure.
• Scope of work continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experienced professional service technicians, engineers, and/or electricians with current/prior field operations-related experience in servicing/troubleshooting DC medium to high-voltage (EV Charging and/or Solar) environments are highly preferred.
• Operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medium to high level (480V AC, 500V+ DC) is helpful.
• Must have demonstrated leadership in current/prior roles as this will help coordinate with suppliers, vendors, etc.
• Electrical troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Immaculate written and verbal communication.
