Experienced Accountant

Job Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance and/or Higher diploma in LCCI
• Fluent knowledge (oral and written) of English & Greek language
• Professional manner, team-oriented
• Ability to multitask and to work under strict reporting deadlines
• Excellent organizational skills, communication and interpersonal abilities
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office 
• Knowledge of Sage 50 Professional will be considered an advantage
• Minimum experience of 3 years in a similar position 

Main Duties

• Working as a part of a team to carry out accounting activities
• Record financial transactions in the accounting software
• Perform Reconciliations (Bank, Customers, Suppliers)
• Issuing invoices
• Calculation & submission of VAT returns
• Calculation & submission of VIES
• Calculation of payroll and submission of Social Insurance
• Preparation & submission of IR7, IR1, IR601
• Registration to VAT, VIES, Inland Revenue, EORI, SI authorities
