Position: Maintenance Technician

Location: Essex, MD

Pay: $25/hour

Experience: Experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting repairs.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC Certification preferred.

Type: Full-time; Temp to Perm

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

HireOne Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Troubleshoot and repair minor plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, and painting issues.
• Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and supplies securely.
• Perform routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs.
• Ensure timely completion of work orders and repairs.
• Monitor building systems and perform preventive maintenance tasks.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of equipment or furniture when needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and building codes.

Position Requirements:

• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and certifications preferred.
• Proficient in general building maintenance techniques.
• Physically able to lift, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
