Position: BuildingMaintenance Technician

Location: Washington, D.C.

Pay: $25/hour

Experience: At least 1 year of residential maintenance experience required. Previous carpentry experience.

Education: HVAC Certification is preferred.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift

HireOne is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Troubleshoot and complete minor plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, and painting repairs.
• Assist with HVAC system maintenance and support appliance repair tasks as needed.
• Respond to work orders and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance issues and ensure safety and functionality.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and supply inventory in an organized and secure manner.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service to residents and staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Travel between properties as needed-reliable personal transportation is required.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.
