Senior QA Engineer (Automation)

Audacity is seeking a Senior QA Engineer with a strong focus on automation to join our product development team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications across web, mobile, and backend services. This position involves designing, developing, and executing automated test suites, as well as contributing to our overall testing strategy and frameworks.

Your responsibilities will include defining test plans, creating robust and maintainable automated tests using frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright, and integrating these tests into our CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and design teams to identify testable requirements and provide early feedback throughout the development lifecycle. We are looking for someone who is passionate about quality and can advocate for best practices.

Experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java for test automation is required. Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured) and performance testing concepts is a plus. You will also participate in manual testing efforts when necessary, debug issues, and ensure proper defect tracking and resolution.
