Front Desk Supervisor
Emmetsburg, Iowa, United States Location: Emmetsburg Department: Hotel Position Title: Front Desk Supervisor Position Summary: The Front Desk Supervisor plans, organizes, and provides supervision and oversight for daily hotel operations and activities, which includes but not limited to; Check-in/check-out hotel guests in a timely and professional manner; process all payments according to established procedures. Primarily supervises front desk team members to ensure efficient and smooth operations for producing excellent feedback and guest satisfaction. Responds in a professional and courteous manner to arriving, departing and in-house guests by providing accurate and timely information and services. In addition to the below key duties and responsibilities, all Wild Rose team members are ambassadors of the Wild Rose brand and culture. Essential Functions: The essential functions and responsibilities of this position are: Trains and directs the workflow and processes of the front desk. Resolves issues/problems and coaches and counsels the front desk team members to ensure a quality operation. Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information, and guest concerns in a timely fashion Book guest reservations for individuals and/or groups that are requested either by phone or from within the hotel; process cancellations, revisions, and information updates on changes Trains and directs the workflow and processes of the front desk. Resolves issues/problems and coaches and counsels the front desk team members to ensure a quality operation.
