About the Role We’re looking for a Product Manager, Spark Projects to join our Product Team and lead a new Supabase project type built for how agents use infrastructure. Agents are creating an unprecedented amount of software, and every app, prototype, preview, and experiment needs a backend from the moment it’s created. Spark projects provision in a second, scale down when idle, and are cheap to enough to use liberally, guilt-free. while keeping the Supabase interface agents already know. Some of these projects will be small and short-lived while others will grow and graduate to larger instances on Supabase. This role owns establishing Spark as the default starting point for agent-built software and how projects grow from an early experiments into production workloads on Supabase. WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Own the product strategy and roadmap for Spark projects, from early MVP through general availability. Make Spark effortless for agents and the platforms they run on, so a backend exists the moment an idea does. Define the path from experiment to production, including how projects get claimed, upgraded, and grown into the full Supabase platform. Shape packaging and pricing with Engineering, Growth, and Finance so Spark is economical at very large scale. Partner closely with Supabase for Platforms customers to understand their needs and bring Spark to them first. YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU Have 5+ years of product management on developer tools or infrastructure, or are an ex-founder with strong product instincts. Have a strong point of view on agent-driven development and how it changes what developers and platforms need from a backend. Know your way around AI Evals, controlled experimentation, and data analysis. Are biased toward speed and would rather ship, learn, and iterate than perfect a spec. Product Manager - Administration & Governance

About Supabase Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth. About the Role We’re looking for a Product Manager, Administration & Governance to join our Product Team and make Supabase the default starting point for software built inside a company. Supabase already spreads from the bottom up: someone has an idea, creates a project, and builds something useful. Inside most companies, Supabase starts the same way: someone has an idea, creates a project, and builds something useful. The next step is making that momentum company-wide: one platform where anyone can start building, and where IT can see what’s running, who owns it, and what it costs. You’ll own how companies run Supabase as their internal development platform: approved by IT and easy for anyone in the company to use. You’ll make it possible for people and the agents they work with to start building without waiting on infrastructure, while giving platform, IT, and security teams the controls they need to say yes. The goal is to make the approved path the easiest path, from an early experiment to a production application, with the controls companies need built in. WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Own the product strategy and roadmap for internal innovation, from a company’s first IT-approved rollout to adoption across teams and business units. Make getting started self-service, whether someone creates a project in Supabase, through an internal developer portal, or with an agent. Give builders the access and infrastructure they need without a ticket for every project. Steer scattered usage into a manageable company-wide platform. Give companies one view of everything they run on Supabase. Shape how ownership, delegated access, and boundaries work so teams can move independently as usage grows. Partner closely with platform, IT, security, and finance teams to understand what it takes to approve Supabase and keep it approved. Translate their needs into practical identity, policy, audit, and spend controls that don’t slow builders down. Define the path from experiment to production, including project ownership, access, and the guardrails that change as an application becomes important to the business. Work with Engineering, Design, Sales, and Customer Success to turn early customer rollouts into a repeatable experience, rather than a new custom integration for every company. Define what success looks like, instrument it end to end, and let the data guide what gets built next—from time to first project and self-service adoption to production usage and expansion across the company. YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU Have 7+ years of product management on developer tools, infrastructure, or internal developer platforms. Have built self-service products that developers love and platform or IT teams trust. You understand both the person trying to ship an app and the team responsible for how it runs. Can reason about identity, permissions, organization boundaries, and usage attribution, and turn those systems into workflows people can actually understand. Have a strong point of view on how agents change who can build software inside a company and what an internal development platform needs to make that possible. Know your way around controlled experimentation and data analysis, and can connect easier adoption to sustained product use. Are biased toward speed and would rather ship, learn, and iterate than perfect a spec. Build with what you own and form opinions through first-hand use, from creating a project to configuring the policies around it. Use AI tools to compress research, drafting, and feedback synthesis so you can focus on judgment calls. Work async by default, making decisions in writing in a fully remote team. WHAT WE OFFER Fully Remote We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. Software Engineer - AI Tooling Infrastructure

ABOUT SUPABASE Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth. About the Role We’re looking for a Software Engineer, AI Tooling Infrastructure to join our AI Tooling team and help build and run the backend services behind Supabase’s AI products. The Supabase MCP server is one example of what the team runs in production, alongside the services that support agent skills and the dashboard assistant. You’ll work closely with the Platform, SRE, Auth, Billing and Edge Functions teams, and with the engineers on the AI Tooling team who build the product surfaces. The AI Tooling team runs its own services in production and carries its own on-call. Traffic from AI clients and agents behaves differently from traffic from people: hundreds of calls a minute, retry loops, and no reading of deprecation warnings. This role makes sure the services they use are reliable, correctly authorized and observable. It is a systems and infrastructure role rather than a product AI role, and it is not an SRE role. You will build and operate these systems, not only advise on them. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in async, fast-paced environments, owns what they ship in production, and is excited about building developer tools that scale to millions. WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR In this role, you’ll: Build and operate the production backend services behind Supabase’s AI products, including the MCP server: deployment, scaling, configuration and release. Take ownership of how those services are structured, including splitting or reshaping a service when that makes it safer to run and easier to change. Define, measure and meet reliability targets for the services the team runs. Set SLOs with the SRE team, track error budgets, and use them to decide what to fix first. Participate in the AI Tooling team on-call rotation, and be a first responder for incidents in those services. Investigate, fix, coordinate with other teams during incidents, and write the follow-ups and runbooks. Work the AI Tooling team support queue alongside on-call, and turn recurring issues into fixes rather than repeated manual answers. Own authentication and authorization for AI and agent clients: OAuth apps, scoped tokens, and permissions that make sense for agents as well as humans, including how we change or deprecate a permission without breaking existing integrations. Own observability for the services the team runs: metrics, traces, logs, dashboards and alerts, so we find problems before customers do. Handle capacity and abuse for agent traffic: rate limits, cost and safety controls, and behavior under load or when a dependency degrades. Improve the architecture of the services the team owns as they grow, including splitting or reshaping a service when that makes it safer to run and easier to change. Work with the Platform team on shared code, review ownership and release process, and with the SRE team on infrastructure, alerting and incident practice. Contribute to the code of the AI Tooling team’s tools, such as the MCP server, where it affects reliability and security, in partnership with the engineers who own the product surface. YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU Must have: Have 5+ years of experience building and running backend services in production, and have carried on-call for them. Write strong TypeScript or Go, and are comfortable working in the other. Have designed and operated APIs with real consumers: versioning, error handling, rate limiting, and backwards-compatible change. Know OAuth, OIDC, JWT and API authorization well enough to debug them in production and to explain where implementations commonly deviate from the spec. Have a good understanding of PostgreSQL and relational databases. Are comfortable with CI/CD, Docker and containerized deployments, and with infrastructure as code. Any tool is fine. Can debug across services: follow a slow or failing request through several systems using metrics, traces and logs. Communicate clearly in writing, work with a wide range of stakeholders, and thrive in async, globally distributed teams. Are comfortable navigating ambiguity and moving quickly. Pick your centre of gravity. We expect you to be deep in at least one of these, and to tell us which: APIs and auth: You have designed permission models, token scopes or OAuth flows for third-party or machine clients, and you have migrated them without breaking users. Operations: You have run production services yourself: carried the pager, written alerts and runbooks, used SLOs or similar to decide what to fix, and made shared systems less risky over time. Gateways and distributed systems: You have built or run proxies or gateways, or debugged hard failures across services (retries, partial failures, upstream outages, fail-open vs fail-closed decisions), and you can reason about load and degradation. Nice to have: Experience with agent tooling (MCP or similar), or serving traffic from AI agents and LLM clients. Experience moving a service out of a larger codebase while keeping existing clients working. Experience with Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Logflare or a similar observability stack, and real SLO work. Open-source contributions, especially to Node.js, Go, TypeScript or API tooling. WHAT WE OFFER Fully Remote We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world. ESOP Every team member receives ESOP (equity ownership) in the company. We want everyone to share in the upside of what we’re building together. Tech Allowance Use this budget to set up your ideal work environment—laptop, monitor, headphones, or whatever helps you do your best work. Health Benefits Supabase covers 100% of health insurance for employees and 80% for dependents, wherever you are. Your wellbeing and your family’s health are important to us. Supabase is the backend of choice for a growing wave of AI-native builders, and we're deepening structured partnerships with the platforms they build on top of — Anthropic, OpenAI, Vercel, and Lovable. These partners' teams are talking to thousands of developers and agents who need exactly what we build—a full backend platform with Postgres at the core—without the vendor lock-in. This is an opportunity to get Supabase in front of the right partner SAs and make us the default recommendation for a modern, AI-ready backend. ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a Platform Solutions Architect to join our Success Team and help embed Supabase into the Solutions and Engineering communities with AI Builders. You’ll work closely with Partner Solutions Architects and Partner Engineers at Anthropic, OpenAI, Vercel, and Lovable, helping us proactively identify builder problems where Supabase is the right solution and closing the gap between partner intent and real developer outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in async, fast-paced environments and is excited about building developer tools that scale to millions of AI-native apps and agents. WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR In this role, you’ll focus on three core pillars: TECHNICAL EVANGELISM & EDUCATION Build deep relationships with Technical counterparts at Anthropic, OpenAI, Vercel, and Lovable, focusing initially on defined use cases and agent/app-migration motions. Develop and deliver technical workshops, training materials, and enablement content to give partner SAs the fluency to position Supabase. Measure success through co-sell opportunities sourced, influenced deals, and SA enablement metrics across the Anthropic, OpenAI, Vercel, and Lovable partnerships. CONTENT CREATION & THOUGHT LEADERSHIP Write technical blog posts and case studies that demonstrate real-world Supabase implementations built on Anthropic, OpenAI, Vercel, and Lovable. Represent Supabase at conferences, meetups, and partner-sponsored events (e.g. Anthropic and OpenAI dev days, Vercel Ship, Lovable community events). Develop video content and interactive learning experiences to reduce the "time-to-fluency" for partner SAs. YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU Have 5+ years of experience in technical roles with deep hands-on experience building on modern AI infrastructure. Previous experience working at Anthropic, OpenAI, Vercel, Lovable (or a similar AI builder platform) or as a partner to one is required. Understand how partner SAs at AI builder platforms are incentivized, how they make recommendations, and how the partner ecosystem influences developer decisions. Communicate clearly across both technical and non-technical audiences, explaining complex concepts with ease. Have a strong technical foundation in PostgreSQL, APIs, and modern development frameworks like React and Next.js, plus fluency with AI/agent tooling (LLM APIs, MCP, agent frameworks). Are comfortable navigating ambiguity and moving quickly to build a playbook from scratch. Are energized by solving real-world problems for developers building the next generation of AI-native products. WHAT WE OFFER Fully Remote We hire globally. FullTime

Container Engineer

ABOUT SUPABASE Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth. More than 9 million developers and 250,000+ customers now build on Supabase, and the majority of new databases on the platform are created by AI app builders — so the systems underneath have to stay reliable while they grow fast. ABOUT THE ROLE Container Engineering (ConEng) owns the internal container platform that runs Supabase's multi-tenant, multi-region services — the managed Kubernetes platform that other engineering teams build and deploy on top of. We own cluster lifecycle and cluster classes, multi-cluster and multi-region topology, capacity, scheduling, isolation and runtime safety, the higher-level platform APIs, the Kubernetes deployment contract and Argo semantics, rollout primitives, and runtime configuration and secret injection. Your job is to make the platform itself trustworthy, observable, and cheap to operate at scale — and to raise the reliability bar for everyone who depends on it. This is not a gatekeeper role. You'll make the reliable path the easy path: building the automation and platform APIs that let product teams run safely by default, instrumenting what we operate, and making sure that when something breaks we detect it and recover fast. The work spans three strength areas: Tooling & ecosystem — deep knowledge of the container and orchestration landscape (Kubernetes, containerd/OCI, the CNCF ecosystem) and a clear point of view on how to compose it. Software engineering — designing and building the platform's automation, controllers, and internal tooling as production code, including solutions that don't come pre-shaped by an existing tool. Operational / SRE practice — the discipline (SLOs, error budgets, incident response, ORRs) that runs the platform at scale as a predictable one. We expect you to be genuinely deep in at least one of these, and many of our strongest candidates are deep in two (usually leaning toward one). Bringing real strength across all three is rare and exceptional — and even then, no one is equally strong in all three at once, so you'd focus where you're most needed at any given time. Different profiles are welcome here; tell us which of these is your center of gravity. WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Regardless of the skill set, all team members carry a share of the team's on-call rota, responding to platform incidents and driving them to resolution and follow-up. Platform reliability & operations Define SLIs/SLOs and error budgets for the container platform itself, and build error-budget policies that actually gate platform changes. Own the Operational Readiness Review (ORR) process for new platform capabilities and major changes. Design and track metrics for platform uptime, and increase observability into the platform by capturing the right metrics, logs, and traces across the platform layers. Drive the incident-to-improvement pipeline: facilitate blameless postmortems, connect findings to readiness gaps, spot repeat failure patterns, and push through systemic fixes. Software engineering Build and maintain the platform's automation, controllers, operators, and internal tooling — writing production code and shipping it, not just wiring together existing tools. Design and implement the platform-side CI/CD and rollout primitives that speed up platform deployments while working within proper change and release management. Implement and maintain security automation for the platform: intrusion detection, automated remediation, and patch management. Identify and quantify operational toil, and build the automation that removes it rather than just documenting it. Contribute to the platform's continual testing automation — the test suites and pipelines that validate platform releases are fit for purpose before they reach tenants. Tooling, ecosystem & architecture Act as a platform reliability and architecture expert — contribute to failure-mode analysis, dependency mapping, and resilience design for multi-tenant container workloads. Evaluate and evolve the platform's tooling ecosystem (orchestration, runtime, networking, isolation, and observability stack) with a clear, opinionated view on trade-offs. Improve system architecture to reduce infrastructure cost while balancing security, reliability, and performance across tenants. Guide teams building on the platform to design sustainable on-call practices for their own services: alert quality, escalation paths, runbook coverage, and noise reduction. YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU Have 5+ years in platform engineering, container/Kubernetes platform operations, SRE, or production infrastructure, and have operated production systems at scale and carried on-call for them. Are genuinely deep in at least one — ideally two — of the three strength areas below (and tell us which is your center of gravity): Tooling & ecosystem — know the container/orchestration landscape well: Kubernetes, containerd and the OCI/CRI standards, and the surrounding CNCF ecosystem (e.g. Argo CD/Argo Rollouts for GitOps and progressive delivery; Cilium/eBPF networking and the Gateway API; Karpenter/KEDA-style autoscaling; and workload-isolation runtimes such as gVisor or Kata Containers). You reason about trade-offs rather than reaching for defaults. Software engineering — write real production code (Go and/or a comparable systems language) and can build controllers, operators, and platform APIs — stepping back to the underlying problem and building the right solution when no off-the-shelf tool fits. Operational / SRE practice — are fluent in SLOs, error budgets, and operational KPIs; have led incident response and blameless postmortems; and have driven down MTTD/MTTR for systems you operated. Have worked with large-scale multi-tenant systems and understand isolation as a spectrum — from namespaces, RBAC, network policies, and resource quotas through to stronger primitives such as virtual clusters (e.g. vCluster) or VM-class runtimes. Operate confidently on AWS (multiple accounts, IAM, VPC) and are comfortable with infrastructure-as-code (Pulumi preferred; Terraform/CDK also fine) and Kubernetes. Script and automate to eliminate toil rather than absorb it. Communicate clearly with both infrastructure specialists and product engineers, and thrive in async, globally distributed teams. Are comfortable navigating ambiguity and iterating toward better systems over time. Nice to Have Experience building and operating a multi-tenant Kubernetes platform that internal teams deploy onto. Familiarity with policy engines (Kyverno, or OPA/Gatekeeper) and cost-attribution tooling (OpenCost/Kubecost) for per-tenant chargeback/showback. Experience with managed database platforms or Postgres. Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus/VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, or similar observability tooling. GRC Analyst

ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a GRC Analyst to join our Compliance & Security team and help make risk management, audit and compliance a continuous part of how Supabase runs. You’ll work closely with engineering, security, IT, and legal to help us define our risk tolerance, keep our compliance programs (including SOC 2 and ISO/IEC 27001:2022) current, test controls on a rolling basis, and answer customer and vendor security reviews quickly and accurately. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in async, fast-paced environments and is excited about building developer tools that scale to millions. WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Run risk assessments across the company and major product changes. Score likelihood and impact, propose treatments, and bring the results to leadership to inform risk tolerance decisions. Maintain the risk register, track remediation to closure, and report status to compliance and security leadership. Monitor controls on a rolling basis, using automated tests where they exist and manual testing where they don’t. Triage failures, prioritize by the risk register, and align each finding with an owner and a due date. Support internal audit, whether performed by an external partner or in-house: propose scope from the risk register, supply evidence, and track findings to closure. Run day-to-day operations for our compliance programs: evidence collection, control owner follow-up, and readiness ahead of each audit period. Extend continuous control validation beyond what our compliance platform covers. Build custom tests with AI coding tools, work with engineering and IT to pull evidence from source systems instead of collecting screenshots, and check that each test proves what the control requires. YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU Have 3+ years of experience in GRC, internal audit, or security compliance at a SaaS or technology company Are comfortable working with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 controls, a compliance platform such as Drata, Vanta, and evidence from systems like AWS, GCP, Google Workspace, and Okta Communicate clearly across both technical and non-technical audiences Have experience in async or globally distributed teams Are energized by solving real-world problems for developers Are comfortable navigating ambiguity and moving quickly WHAT WE OFFER Fully Remote We hire globally. Engineering Manager - Spark

ABOUT SUPABASE Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth. ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for Engineering Managers to lead engineering effort on Supabase Spark. Supabase Spark is an initiative to build the next frontier of agentic databases, supporting billions of databases, with millions of databases created every day. Although we don’t require managers to contribute to code directly, we do expect you to participate in design discussions and to be involved in setting the bar for engineering quality and best practices. WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Team & People Build a healthy, high-trust team culture in a remote-first, globally distributed environment. Run 1:1s, performance management, career development, and onboarding for your direct reports. Handle people admin (leave, time off, etc.) for your team. Hiring Own the hiring plan for your team and act as Hiring Manager. First round of interviewer for all roles on the team. Partner with Talent Acquisition to source, interview, and close strong candidates. Contribute to headcount planning, org design, and the evolution of engineering leadership at Supabase. Delivery & Roadmap Own the team's roadmap and project management (Linear), driving accountability and clear milestones. Manage workflow intake and Slack triage. These are the team’s primary inboxes for cross-team requests. You decide what gets routed where, prioritized, or pushed back on. Own the team's weekly updates and keep stakeholders aligned without creating overhead. Organize effort against support tickets and maintain the team's SLO. Surface risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs early and clearly to leadership. Incident Commander Train as an Incident Commander. Drive coordination, resolution, and post-incident follow-up. Lead blameless post-incident reviews YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU Have 5+ years of engineering background, with enough depth to be credible with engineers building complex systems. Have 3+ years managing remote engineering teams. Have managed engineering teams at a cloud, SaaS, or developer tools company. Experience with developer tools or databases, plus if that includes both SQLite and Postgres ecosystems. Strong technical credibility in backend and database systems: APIs, auth, and Postgres access control (roles, grants, RLS) etc. Has led a team shipping a developer facing API or platform product from early stage to production. Have managed remote, globally distributed teams that work asynchronously across disparate time zones. Are technical enough to be credible with strong engineers, but genuinely passionate about people management. This is the work you want to do, not a track you're settling for. Build psychological safety and a feedback culture: you give feedback often and in the moment, ask for it back, and create space for the team to do the same. Operate as a multiplier. Focused on helping individuals achieve more than they could alone, not on being the best technical voice in the room. Coach rather than direct. Remove blockers, connect people to context and resources, and trust your engineers to own how the work gets done. Have a real track record of performance management and can speak to specific examples of difficult conversations and how you navigated them. Are comfortable with ambiguity and capable of building structure where there isn't much. Communicate clearly and write well. You're default async, default written, set context proactively, and surface risks early. Are collaborative, low-ego, and adaptable. You thrive working with high-autonomy, senior ICs who have strong technical opinions and don't need to be the smartest person in the room. Are comfortable with aggressive scoping and eval driven development. Head of New Media

ABOUT SUPABASE Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth. ABOUT THE ROLE Traditional PR is fading — we go directly to our audience. This role brings together what used to be two separate seats, communications and social media, into one mid-to-senior, hands-on role: owning Supabase's voice in the channels where developers actually pay attention, and building our founders' presence in them. "New media" here means modern and direct, not traditional press — we care far more about getting our founders onto the right podcasts and YouTube channels than landing a New York Times placement. It's part comms, part social operator, with a sharper edge than a typical polite PR hire: someone willing to put an opinion out there and push a little rather than always play it safe. But it's not just a social media job either — this person also needs the poise and technical credibility to lead comms through genuinely high-stakes moments, like a major incident, where reporters, investors, and customers all need a calm, credible, technically fluent voice at the same time. WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Make sure we're part of the current conversation and are going directly to our audience — new media over old-world press Own and execute our new media strategy Run and grow Supabase's X + LinkedIn accounts, hands on keyboard Help build the accounts of our founders and team — including ghostwriting in their voice Explore and exploit unconventional channels and formats Book our cofounders on the most known shows, podcasts, and YouTube channels in our space Work directly with DevRel and the PMM team on launches and Select Manage comms around incidents, funding, and other high-stakes moments — crisis comms handled with poise and technical credibility (this is key) YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU Are an excellent writer with a distinctive voice — equally strong posting as yourself and ghostwriting for others Have a track record of growing accounts, ideally for a technical audience Unconventional thinker — willing to put an opinion out there and push a little, with the judgment to know when Seasoned enough for the serious moments — incidents, funding, press — calm, credible, and technically fluent High agency — you're probably already doing a version of this somewhere scrappier WHAT WE OFFER Fully Remote We hire globally. Growth Marketer, Creators & Channels

ABOUT SUPABASE Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth. ABOUT THE ROLE Creator and UGC content is only getting bigger as a growth channel for developer tools, and right now Supabase reaches it mostly at arm's length, through agencies that own the actual relationships with creators. This role exists to change that: bring our creator/influencer program fully in-house, own those relationships directly, and grow the program into a multi-million-dollar channel. A good marker of success looks like a roster of around 50 active creators within the first year — at which point we take what worked and go find the next channel to unlock the same way. This is a growth and marketing role first, not a DevRel or engineering-adjacent one — we're optimizing less for technical depth and more for someone outgoing enough that creators want to work with them directly, creative enough to keep testing new formats and strategies, and operationally strong enough to run the budgets and reporting behind it. The work is currently split on an interim basis across a couple of people on the marketing team; this role is being created to own it end to end. WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Source, recruit, and manage direct relationships with content creators (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) Design and run creator campaigns end to end Find and test new acquisition channels and strategies — lots of small experiments, doubling down on what works Operationalize and report on these programs: budgets, tracking, results Grow with the role: the remit could develop into owning all content from a growth perspective, beyond creators and UGC YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU 3+ years in growth, partnerships or creator marketing at a dev tool, SaaS or consumer tech company Track record of launching channels from zero — and turning winners into repeatable programs Outgoing relationship-builder creators genuinely want to work with Strong operator. Comfortable with spreadsheets. Ideally already doing a version of this somewhere scrappier or more startup — someone thriving at a smaller company is a better signal here than someone comfortable (but not standout) at a big-name platform WHAT WE OFFER Fully Remote We hire globally. SDK Engineer - Python

ABOUT SUPABASE Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth. ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for a SDK Engineer - Python to join our SDK team and own how developers talk to Supabase from Python. You'll work closely with the rest of the SDK team, our Auth, Realtime, Storage, PostgREST, Functions, CLI and Docs teams, and the open-source community, helping us make the Python SDK a library Python developers genuinely enjoy using. Python developers reach Supabase from backend services, data pipelines, notebooks, and a growing number of AI agents and agent frameworks. The Python SDK is how all of them talk to the platform: database queries, auth, storage, realtime and edge functions, in both sync and async flavors. This is a library-authoring role, and the work happens in the open: public repos, public issue trackers, and API decisions whose consequences last for years. If you get satisfaction from a type checker that catches the bug before your users do, from an async client that cleans up after itself, and from an issue tracker that isn't a graveyard, you'll like it here. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in async, fast-paced environments and is excited about building developer tools that scale to millions. WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Build and evolve our Python SDK across database, auth, storage, realtime and functions, with both sync and async APIs that feel natural in Python. Start new things. Alongside the maintenance work, find what's missing, make the case for it, and build it. Nobody will hand you the list. Work in the open. Triage inbound issues, review and shepherd outside contributions, keep CI and release automation healthy, and hold a clear, kind line on scope. Own the typing experience. Make the SDK fully typed and checker-friendly, so autocomplete and static analysis stay correct in real codebases. Keep us honest across environments. Multiple Python versions, sync and async frameworks, workers, serverless and notebooks — with dependency ranges that don't fight our users' projects. Test it, don't assume it. Work on realtime. Long-lived websocket connections, reconnection, and subscription and presence semantics. Track the platform. When auth, realtime, storage, postgrest or edge functions ship a change, make sure the SDK reflects it, and that we say so in the changelog. Design in public. Write the RFCs, migration guides, release notes and docs. Treat a breaking change as a deprecation path plus a migration story, not a version bump. Make our SDK legible to AI coding agents, which are now a major consumer of it. YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU Know modern Python typing deeply. You use generics, protocols, overloads and TypedDict as design tools, run strict type checking, and fix type errors without reaching for Any. Have authored or maintained a published library with a public API and users outside your own company. You know what it costs to change something people depend on. Know the maintainer side of open source. Issue triage at volume, reviewing outside PRs, release automation, changelogs and semver, security reports, and saying no to a feature request without losing the person who asked. Are fluent in asyncio and have opinions on how a library should serve both sync and async callers. Know Python packaging for libraries: pyproject.toml, wheels, modern tooling, version support policy, and why libraries shouldn't pin their dependencies tightly. Test as a habit: unit, type-level and end-to-end against a real stack. Every fix comes with a regression test. Write well. Design docs, changelogs and issue replies are a large part of the output here, much of it public, and we're async by default. Have real autonomy: you find the important work, scope it, ship it, and say what you didn't do. Communicate clearly across both technical and non-technical audiences Have experience in async or globally distributed teams Are energized by solving real-world problems for developers Are comfortable navigating ambiguity and moving quickly Bonus points if you: have run a major-version migration for a public package, know your way around JWT/OAuth, have built integrations for AI agent frameworks, or have generated idiomatic clients from a schema. Annual Off-Sites Once a year, the entire company gathers in a new city for a week of connection, collaboration, and fun. It’s a highlight of our year. Site Reliability Engineer

ABOUT SUPABASE Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth. ABOUT THE ROLE Supabase manages millions of Postgres instances and is growing. We have strong teams across observability, release engineering, and incident management — and we're concentrating our reliability efforts into a dedicated SRE practice that ties the discipline together across the platform. You'll be embedded within Service Operations, and your primary job is to make every engineering team more reliable — not by owning their infrastructure, but by establishing the practices, frameworks, and feedback loops that let them own reliability themselves. You'll work across the org: sometimes setting the standard, sometimes pair-programming a fix, sometimes helping a team define their error budget, sometimes telling them it's exhausted. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong vision for how SRE should work and thrives in async, fast-paced environments where influence matters more than authority. WHAT YOU'LL OWN Partner with service teams to define meaningful SLIs and SLOs grounded in customer experience, and build the error budget policies that turn them into engineering decisions Own and evolve the Operational Readiness Review (ORR) process — conducting reviews for new services and major changes across observability, alerting, runbooks, capacity, and graceful degradation Strengthen the incident-to-improvement pipeline: connecting postmortem findings to operational readiness gaps, identifying repeat failure patterns, and driving systemic fixes Act as the reliability expert teams pull in for architecture reviews, failure mode analysis, dependency mapping, and resilience design Identify and quantify operational toil across the org, and build or advocate for automation that eliminates it Help teams design sustainable on-call practices: alert quality, escalation paths, runbook coverage, and noise reduction Track and report on org-wide operational maturity, surfacing systemic gaps and driving remediation YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU Have 7+ years of experience in SRE, production engineering, or reliability-focused roles, including experience shaping SRE practices and driving adoption across engineering teams Have a software engineering mindset — you write code and build tools, not just configure them Have hands-on experience defining and operationalizing SLOs/SLIs at scale, including error budget policies that actually influenced engineering decisions Have deep experience with incident response, postmortem facilitation, and turning incident learnings into systemic improvements Have worked with large-scale multi-tenant systems (bonus: managed database platforms or Postgres) Are proficient with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and infrastructure-as-code (Pulumi preferred, Terraform/CDK also acceptable) Communicate clearly and persuasively — this role requires influencing without authority across a distributed org Have experience in async or globally distributed teams Are energized by making other teams more effective rather than being the one who fixes everything NICE TO HAVE Experience with Kubernetes-based platform operations Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, or similar observability tooling Experience building developer-facing reliability tooling (SLO dashboards, ORR frameworks, toil tracking, DORA metrics) WHAT WE OFFER Fully Remote We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world. ESOP Every team member receives ESOP (equity ownership) in the company. We want everyone to share in the upside of what we’re building together. FinOps Data Engineer

About the Role We're looking for a FinOps Data Engineer to help drive cost optimization and cloud financial governance across our AWS infrastructure and GCP footprint. You'll work cross-functionally with Engineering, Finance, and Product to find and ship savings, build the tooling necessary to maximize efficiency of every dollar spent in the cloud, and cultivate a culture of cost awareness across engineering teams. This role owns the data side of that mission: the models, pipelines, and analysis that make cost, usage, and margin numbers trustworthy across the company. This is a hands-on engineering role, not an analyst seat. You'll do the schlep work other teams don't have time for, digging into a bucket's access pattern, writing the dbt model or Python pipeline that ships the fix, building the cost-vs-revenue mart that answers a margin question once instead of every time, and chasing a number until it reconciles. Strong communication matters as much as technical depth, you'll regularly explain a savings case or a data model's implications to an engineering team, a finance stakeholder, and a leadership audience in the same week. What You'll Be Responsible For In this role, you'll: Find and ship savings across AWS and GCP: Analyze billing, usage, and cost trends to identify opportunities, rightsizing, storage lifecycle policies, data transfer, and spot/auto-scaling. Take ideas from identification through to a realized dollar figure, not just a recommendation. Build and maintain the FinOps data pipeline: Design and run the BigQuery/dbt models that turn raw billing and usage data (CUR, Storage Lens) into reconciled, trustworthy mart tables, the foundation everything else in FinOps is built on. Build cost-vs-revenue and customer segmentation models: Model unit economics and margin by product line and customer segment, and extend coverage as new products and segments come online. Apply data science to cost and usage data: Build forecasting models, detect anomalies statistically rather than by threshold alone, and quantify savings opportunities (e.g. storage lifecycle, request-cost patterns) with rigor a spreadsheet can't match. Build and maintain cost attribution: Tagging policies, cost allocation, and chargeback/showback so engineering teams can see and own their own spend. This is foundational work other savings work depends on. Automate cost governance: Build automated cost reporting, anomaly detection, and alerting. Write the scripts and infrastructure-as-code (Python, Terraform, Lambda) that enforce cost policy rather than relying on manual review. Partner with engineering on architecture decisions: Bring cost into the room early, cost-efficiencies are cheaper to get right at design than to retrofit. Work with Finance on forecasting and reporting: Support budget tracking and financial KPIs; build dashboards and self-serve analytics engineering and finance can both read. You Might Be a Good Fit If You Have strong AWS expertise and working GCP knowledge, including pricing models, billing structures, and cost optimization mechanics. Have data engineering depth: dbt, BigQuery (or an equivalent modern warehouse), SQL at scale, and data modeling for analytics (dimensional modeling, incremental models, testing). Have data science fundamentals: statistical forecasting, anomaly detection, and experimentation, and know when a rigorous model beats a rule of thumb. Have automation and scripting skills: Python, Terraform/ pulumi, Lambda, or Bash. Are comfortable with cost/billing tooling: AWS Cost Explorer, Cost & Usage Reports, GCP Billing Reports, and BI/dashboarding (we use Hex). Have experience with, or are comfortable picking up, Linear and Notion as the system of record for tracking and documenting FinOps work. Experience with a dedicated cloud cost management platform (e.g. CloudZero, Vantage, or similar) is a plus, not required. Can analyze cost data and present it clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Have prior experience spanning data analytics, data engineering, or data science in a FinOps, cloud cost management, or cloud governance context. Are energized by doing the unglamorous, high-leverage work (the schlep) that unblocks other teams, and by working cross-functionally without positional authority. Cloud Platform Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE As a Cloud Platform Engineer at Supabase, you’ll join Cloud Engineering, part of Engineering Operations, and shape the foundations that let engineering teams build, ship, and operate infrastructure safely and independently across AWS and GCP. This is a role spanning cloud governance, platform engineering, and hands-on operations. You’ll work across AWS and GCP account structure, identity and access management, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), reusable platform primitives, security boundaries, and self-service workflows for engineers. You’ll be joining at a point where many of these foundations are being actively defined or reworked. We’re looking for someone who can take ambiguous, messy, business-critical infrastructure problems and turn them into pragmatic systems, tools, standards, and written guidance that scale with the company and empower teams to go faster. WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Designing and implementing cloud governance across AWS and GCP, including identity, account organization, access controls, and guardrails. Building reusable infrastructure and building blocks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), enabling teams to provision and manage infrastructure safely and consistently. Creating self-service capabilities that reduce organizational friction and let engineers move more quickly within sensible boundaries. Owning resource governance and visibility: management tagging, a trustworthy inventory of what exists and who owns it, and consistent cross-account billing data. Developing reusable security primitives, including secrets storage, KMS, certificate management, token vending, direct service-to-service authentication, mTLS, and related platform services. Owning cloud-level network and operational primitives: IP address management, DNS, and health signals such as service-limit and quota alerting. Combining software engineering with hands-on operations and total ownership: building, deploying, monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving what you own. Establishing and sharing cloud engineering best practices through documentation, internal tooling, examples, and enablement. YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU Have 5+ years of experience in cloud governance, platform engineering, and/or operations, have operated production systems at scale, and carried on-call for them. Have previously undertaken a significant migration, e.g. rearchitected an AWS account topology, introduced IaC for existing infrastructure, centralized identity/SSO, or brought a second cloud under governance. Enjoy building internal platform and self-service experiences for other engineers. Are genuinely deep in at least one—ideally two—of the three strength areas below (and tell us which is your center of gravity): Tooling & ecosystem: You’re intimately familiar with the breadth of AWS services in general, and IAM/SSO in particular. You know their Well-Architected Framework, and when to reach outside. You have working knowledge of GCP. You use IaC routinely and have run it in production, whichever tool. You’ve probably collaborated with auditors on meeting compliance requirements. Software engineering: You write real production code (Go, Rust, or a comparable systems language), and can build reliable, maintainable services. You thrive across all stages of the SDLC, set technical direction, know how to de-risk projects, and produce written artifacts such as RFCs. Operations: You’ve run production infrastructure yourself: carried the pager, written the alerts and runbooks, used SLOs or similar to decide what to fix first, and made shared systems less risky over time. You like owning systems, simplifying complex infrastructure problems, and turning best practices into reusable building blocks. Are comfortable treating infrastructure as software and have relevant experience with IaC and automation. Communicate clearly, work with a wide range of stakeholders, and thrive in async, globally distributed teams. Are comfortable navigating ambiguity and iterating toward better systems over time.
