Not Specified, New York, United States NP/PA Hematology Oncology opening in Albany/Troy, NYAbout Position:Full time outpatient Advanced Practice Provider roleEmployedSeeking a full time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Medical Oncology/Hematology outpatient practices located in Albany and Troy, New York. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well established, patient centered cancer care program supported by a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and strong system resources. The Advanced Practitioner will work closely with collaborating Hematologist Oncologists and an experienced cancer care team to deliver comprehensive outpatient oncology and hematology services.Provide direct patient care in the clinic, including assessments, follow up visits, and ongoing treatment supportCollaborate closely with a Hematologist Oncologist and interdisciplinary care teamSupport patients throughout the continuum of cancer care, including symptom management and treatment educationSchedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per weekJoin a respected Medical Oncology/Hematology program with a strong regional reputationMultidisciplinary care model including medical oncology, surgery, radiation oncology, and supportive servicesAccess to cancer screenings, breast navigation, tumor boards, cancer support groups, and cancer registry programsPatient centered approach supported by strong clinical and system resources Requirements:Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.Previous experience in oncology or cancer care is preferred, although new graduates with an interest in oncology/hematology should apply.NYS licenseStrong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Compensation package may include:Competitive base salary range of $134,120 with the ability to earn more in productivity$5,000 starting bonus paid in first payroll monthThe posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer.
