Orlando Health is seeking a BE/BC Anesthesiologist. The position is to join a collaborative team of anesthesiologists and advanced practice anesthesia providers at the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute. The Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute consists of one building with an outpatient surgery center and an inpatient orthopedic hospital. The case mix ranges from diagnostic outpatient orthopedic procedures to complex total joint replacement and spine surgery. The responsibility in this position is to deliver exceptional patient experience with safe, up to date care, while acting as a catalyst to expand the organization s mission and achieve its vision. Practice Highlights: Collaborative member of anesthesia department to work with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals Evaluate and formulate anesthetic plans for patients undergoing surgical and/or diagnostic care Peripheral Nerve Blocks required. Supervision/Medical Direction of certified anesthetists delivering anesthesia Administer anesthesia intraoperatively with continuous monitoring of vital signs and titration of anesthesia needed Schedule: Monday Friday with no holidays, nights or weekends No Call Requirements Other Related Functions Maintain compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures Attends and participates in departmental meetings and educational initiatives Teach student anesthetists, residents, fellows or other learners Education/Training Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Anesthesiology Residency program. This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside our newly appointed division chief and help build a premier pediatric ENT program serving the Central Florida region. Position Highlights Join a Growing Team: Work with our newly established division chief to expand our pediatric ENT services and shape the future of the program Comprehensive Pediatric Practice: Focus exclusively on pediatric otolaryngology with access to a robust referral base across Central Florida State-of-the-Art Facilities: Access to modern surgical suites, advanced diagnostic equipment, and dedicated pediatric operating rooms Academic Opportunities: Potential for teaching and research involvement with affiliated medical education programs Collaborative Environment: Work closely with pediatric subspecialists across multiple disciplines including pulmonology, allergy/immunology, genetics, and craniofacial surgery Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient pediatric otolaryngology care Perform surgical procedures including but not limited to: tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, ear tube placement, endoscopic sinus surgery, airway reconstruction, and head and neck procedures Manage complex pediatric ENT conditions including airway disorders, hearing loss, congenital anomalies, and chronic rhinosinusitis Participate in multidisciplinary care teams for complex cases Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and program development Participate in call rotation to provide emergency ENT coverage Qualifications: Education: M.D., D.O.
