Interior Design Draftsman
As an Interior Design Draftsman, you will play a vital role in supporting the design and execution of our interior fit-out projects. You will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and joinery details while collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and project teams to ensure the accuracy and clarity of design implementation. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed interior drawings, including layout plans, ceiling plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details Translate conceptual sketches into precise and well-coordinated technical drawings Develop shop drawings and as-built documentation for fit-out works Ensure all drawings meet design specifications, local authority regulations, and company standards Coordinate with design, architectural, engineering, and site teams to resolve drawing issues Update and revise drawings based on client feedback or site conditions Organise and maintain drawing documentation and registers Assist in preparing material schedules when required Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in interior design drafting and preparing shop drawings, in the UAE/GCC Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or 3Ds Max is an advantage Strong expertise in joinery detailing, interior finishes, and materials Understanding of construction methods and fit-out coordination Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings High attention to detail, time management, and teamwork.
