This inpatient neurosurgery role combines trauma coverage with elective spine and cranial surgery support. Practice & Cases Adult inpatient neurosurgery service Trauma, stroke, spine, and cranial patient management Elective spine and cranial surgery support Drain removals, shunt adjustments, and inpatient neurosurgical care Schedule Monday through Sunday block rotations True 7-on, 7-off schedule Day or night shifts available based on coverage needs Open to night call participation Requirements Must be a Physician Assistant Board Certified in Neurological Surgery Active Virginia license required ACLS and DEA required Logistics Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered Coverage may be split between Norfolk and Virginia Beach locations We'd be happy to review the upcoming 7-on, 7-off rotations and discuss which coverage blocks fit your availability.
