Direct Support Professional (Respite Care)
Creed Medical is hiring passionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide compassionate support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a DSP, you will assist clients with daily living activities, promote independence, and support them in achieving their personal goals. You will work closely with clients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure quality care and a supportive environment. Join Creed Medical and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. Key Responsibilities Assist individuals with personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, and daily living tasks. Encourage and facilitate participation in social, recreational, and community activities. Implement and follow individualized support plans to enhance client independence. Document care activities accurately and report any changes in client status. Maintain a safe and respectful environment for all clients. Collaborate with team members and families to provide comprehensive care. Schedule Part-time respite service Requirements Looking for Male or Female DSP for respite services High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in direct support or caregiving preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred. Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred or willingness to obtain after hire. Benefits Respite services pay rate: $15 - $17 / Hour The position can be offered as PRN, and as additional shifts become available, we will reach out to you. There may also be opportunities to increase your hours in the future through shift coverage with other clients or overtime, depending on availability.
