Job Description
  • Oversee daily site operations across warehousing, transport, administration, customer service, and OH&S functions.
  • Act as second-in-command to the Business Manager, ensuring operational excellence and continuity.
  • Lead and manage warehouse teams and site supervisors to meet performance targets and service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods (DG) regulations, health and safety protocols, and administrative procedures.
  • Respond to customer queries promptly, resolve issues thoroughly, and implement preventative measures.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet contractual obligations and adapt to changing operational demands.
  • Foster strong customer relationships through proactive communication and service responsiveness.
  • Champion a safety-first culture and drive continuous improvement through collaborative leadership and team development.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Warehouse Manager should have:

  • Significant experience leading teams in a 3PL environment.
  • In-depth understanding of transport industry laws, regulations, and fatigue management, with specific expertise in handling dangerous goods.
  • Strong commitment to customer service, with a keen interest in understanding client needs and delivering value.
  • Solid grasp of workforce and operational requirements, particularly in areas of training, compliance, and performance standards.
  • Skilled in incident response and investigation, with the ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions effectively.
  • Capable of making informed decisions by evaluating a wide range of internal and external operational factors.
  • Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving to support operational improvements.
  • Clear and effective communicator, both in writing and verbally, across all levels of the organisation.
