Location: Durham, NC
Pay: $17.60 to $19.25/hour
Experience:
- 2+ years of production experience within a warehouse or manufacturing setting is required.
- Previous electronic assembly experience is preferred.
Education:
Type: Full-time; Long-Term Contract
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 4:30pm to 2:30am
Greene Resources is seeking an Assembly Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Prepare for assembly: Review assembly instructions, blueprint specification, and parts list; gather necessary parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Position parts and subassemblies: Use templates or precise measurements to correctly place components
- Assemble components: Ensure correct fit by examining connections and fastening parts and subassemblies securely.
- Verify specifications: Measure completed components to confirm they meet required specifications.
- Resolve assembly issues: Adjust dimensions to meet specifications and notify supervisors when additional resources are needed.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment: Comply with procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain safety and cleanliness.
- Follow specific SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) to complete tasks.
Position Requirements:
- 2+ years of production experience within a warehouse or manufacturing setting is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to be cross-trained
- A strong, consistent work history.
