We are seeking an enthusiastic and suitably qualified/experienced People Leader to join our Services and Operations Department as Team Leader Parks and Gardens in a Permanent Full-Time capacity.
As a valued member of the Services and Operations Department and the Organisational leadership team, the successful applicant's objectives will be to:
- Lead the strategic planning, execution, and ongoing enhancement of Council-managed parks, gardens, sporting reserves, playgrounds, open spaces, and the Colac Botanic Gardens, ensuring they are well-maintained, safe and valued by the community.
- Manage asset maintenance programs, depot operations and relevant contracts, such as arborist services, electrical line clearance and fleet management, to ensure efficiency, compliance and service quality.

To support your success in this role you will have:
- Proven experience in manual/outdoor work activities
- Basic computer and written/oral communication skills.
- Demonstrate a respectful and positive attitude in all interactions with colleagues and members of the public.
- Have an OHS Construction Induction Card/White Card (or willing to obtain prior to commencement).
- Civil machinery tickets and experience would be advantageous
- Current manual drivers licence with experience in HR truck operation essential

Salary Information: $86,793.20 to $93,614.04 per annum plus superannuation.
