Type: Permanent - Full Time

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver and assess engaging units that align with the WA (Western Australian) English curriculum.
  • Differential instruction to meet diverse student needs, including ATAR courses.
  • Use high impact strategies to engage and challenge students.
  • Collaborate with the English learning area and the school community to improve outcomes.
  • Participate in curriculum planning, professional learning, and performance reviews.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Valid WA teaching registration.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Education or English.
  • Experience teaching Years 7 12, ideally with ATAR content.
  • Strong knowledge of WA curriculum and assessment practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to use innovative teaching strategies.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and collaboration.
  • Current Working with Children Check and requisite screening clearances.
