Position: Permanent full-time Teacher - Arts, Media

Salary: Teacher, $85,610 - $124,046 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2023)

Term start: Term 1, 2026

The Role

We are seeking an outstanding Media teacher with a deep understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum and a strong commitment to high-impact teaching practices. The successful applicant will teach Media across Year 7 to 12, with Digital Technologies teaching also highly desirable.

The applicant should believe in the potential of every student, use evidence-based teaching strategies, and commit to reflective practice and continuous growth. They should provide differentiated learning opportunities for diverse student needs. Our media facilities include a TV studio with Blackmagic Studio cameras, a green screen, studio lighting, recording rooms, intercom, switchboard for live productions, podcasting equipment and DSLR cameras.

They will join a progressive Arts department and contribute to whole-school educational programs, building strong relationships with colleagues, students and families and supporting a culture of professional development.

Eligibility
  • Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment.
  • Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start.
  • Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
