We are currently seeking interest for an experienced Maintenance Superintendent on an 8:6 roster with responsibilities not limited to.
About the Role- FIFO from Perth
- Lead by example, work, promote and manage in accordance with all established work rules, HSEQ legislation, standards, policies and procedures
- Ensure, so far as is possible, the provision and maintenance of a work environment in which employees are not exposed to hazards
- Motivate and engage employees and contractors to achieve high standards of safety performance
- Coordinate and supervise the maintenance works (mobile and fixed mechanical equipment) for the successful completion of planned repairs and to provide effective responses to unscheduled repairs or breakdowns.
- Coordinate and develop the assigned subordinates in repairing/overhauling for maintenance on equipment, and in order to optimise workable time and to minimise turnaround time of each maintenance event.
- Keep updated on the latest technical developments from OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) in order to be advised on any technical problem
- Model and promote behaviours in line with Macmahon values
- 7+ years' leadership experience
- Australian recognised Trades Certificate
- RIIRIS402D - Carry Out the Risk Management Processes.
- BSBWHS411 - Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures and programs
- Deep knowledge of the practical application of mechanical/electrical/heavy mobile equipment & safety legal requirements
- Have extensive experience in plant operational works with a capability in monitoring direct staff or subcontractors
- Experience working at a mining/civil contractor is preferred.
